A great half day programme to get aquainted with the Thai elephant in an ethical setting.

You will be picked up early at your Chiang Mai hotel and will proceed in a southerly direction for around 1.5 hours to the The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. On arrival at the sanctuary it will be time to meet and get aquainted the elephants, the best way to do this is start to offer them some food and make sure that these large hungry beasts get well fed! The first activity of the morning will be escorting the elephants to the mud spa where you can feel free to join the elephants rolling around in thier muddy pit! After all the mud it will be time to get clean and you will escort the elephants to the river for a refreshing bath and brush up. The mornings programme will finish with the provision of seasonal fruit and refreshments before boarding the transport and make our way back to Chiang Mai.
