no video

Spend a day in the Chiang Dao area trekking in the hills to a Shan Village and biking on the fertile flood plain of the Ping River.

After pick up at your Chiang Mai hotel we will make our way north out of the city towards the town of Chiang Dao. As Chiang Dao Mountain comes into sight we will turn off the main highway where the narrow road will start to wind its way up in to the hills. We will soon reach the jumping off point for the mornings trek. The trekking will commence in thick pristine forest. Be prepared for some exertion as most of the mornings trekking will be up hill. On route we will stop by for a refreshing shower at a small waterfall then on to Mae Mae Shan Village where we will take a well earned lunch at Tree House Village. After lunch you will board the transport again for the short drive to the cycle starting point. The afternoon will be spent biking some of the small roads and trails on the flat Ping River flood plain, the route will take you through some very pretty rural scenes and small villages.
